Since its establishment in 1971, ASTEC has been dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of power products. The name ASTEC embodies not only our decades of technological accumulation but also celebrates the remarkable journey we have shared with our partners in expanding markets worldwide.

In an era of rapid digitalization and global industrial transformation, we are entering a new phase of development. To keep pace with the times and align with the company's core strategy — "Strategic Breakthrough, Product Leadership, Global Operations, and Organizational Empowerment" —— Bichamp Energy Division, which includes ASTEC (comprising ASTEC Luoding, ASTEC Shenzhen, and ASTEC Digital Energy), will officially launch a comprehensive brand upgrade effective September 1, 2025. This new chapter will be introduced under the evolved English brand name “PLATINTEK,” supported by a refreshed visual identity.

1971–1999: Foundation in Independent Technology

1971: ASTEC founded in Hong Kong, China, with self-developed industrial power technology.

1995: Established manufacturing base in Luoding, Guangdong (now ASTEC Luoding ), achieving technological industrialization.

1999–2014: Integration of Global Technologies

1999: Fully acquired by Emerson Group, accessing global R&D systems.

2001: Acquired core technology from Huawei Ansheng Electric (communications power/UPS patents).

2007: Integrated Emerson Network Energy China assets and Zhongshan Tencent Technology, forming dual engines in communications and data center power technology.

2014: Investment from a U.S. private equity fund to accelerate digital power R&D.

2019–2022: Marriage of Capital and Technology

2019: Business restructuring revived the ASTEC brand, combining the technical legacy of Huawei, Emerson, and ASTEC .

2020: Supplied 2 billion chargers globally, demonstrating technological versatility.

2022: Fully acquired by listed company Bichamp, gaining industrial capital support; launched initiatives to expand into the new energy sector.

2023–Present: Ecosystem-Level Evolution

2023: As a key part of Bichamp Energy Division, integrated industrial chain synergies.

2025: Upgraded to PLATITEK, completing the convergence of our manufacturing heritage, technological DNA, and new-era innovation.

New Brand Identity Philosophy

The new name PLATINTEK, symbolizing "Shining Technology," represents innovation-driven development and empowering the industry through technology.

The logo merges the letter "P" with the infinity symbol (∞), forming an energy cycle that reflects the sustainability of power technology. An upward-oriented orange arrow conveys the concept of energy ascent and industrial progress.
